What couples say about working with Dana
"Dana provided us with the most beautiful wedding ceremony that was uniquely tied to our love story. Aside from being extremely professional and putting us at ease on our big day, she took the time to get to know both of us and how our love unfolded. She captured our exact sentiments for one another and crafted it into a ceremony in a way that made our feelings for one another truly palpable for our guests. We wholeheartedly recommend her as a wedding officiant." Melissa and Brandon B, Denver, Co.

My husband and I wanted an intimate ceremony that was unique and felt special to us. We met with other officiants but didn’t find what we were looking for until we met with Dana. She asked us several questions to get to know us as a couple about how we met, what qualities we see in one another, what traditions were important to us, and about our vision. From this she wrote a personalized ceremony that captured who we are as individuals and what makes us great together. After reading the draft, I couldn’t believe how well she captured us as a couple from our meeting. She continued to make revisions to our ceremony up until the week of our wedding and added in a short reading for us on our request. The ceremony she wrote made our day feel so much more special and several of our guests commented on how nice and thoughtful it was. Planning a wedding from out-of-state can add an extra level of stress, but Dana was so easy to work with and very responsive which put me at ease. Thank you Dana for helping make our wedding day special! -Mike and Kim T. Vail, Co
Our ceremony was PERFECT and totally US thanks to Dana. She took the time to meet us early on, asked us questions about our relationship, ourselves as individuals, and us as a couple. The meeting with Dana brought back the “when we first met” butterflies between my husband and I when she was asking us all of these questions; getting to know us. Dana kept in touch with us along the way, making edits and evolving the ceremony over quite some time. She always sent me the edits and asked for our feedback and what we felt when we read it. I can honestly say each time I read the ceremony she created, I would cry because her words are simply beautiful. We had asked for a ceremony that was non-religious, but light-hearted with a little bit of fun that played on our love for sports and the fact that we were getting married 2 days before our 10 year anniversary of dating. Dana did a beautiful job to bring all these pieces together and truly made the ceremony perfect. Thank you Dana for all you did for us !!! I highly recommend her !

I could hear the enthusiasm in her voice when I spoke to Dana on the phone for the first time. After meeting in person, my (then) fiancé said, “I really like her. Her personality fits.” We met to talk so that she could learn about us and our vision for our wedding; however, we were hopeful that Dana’s personality would shine through as well. It did… and our ceremony was perfect. She incorporated everything we asked and had creative ideas on how to expand upon them. Some of the comments we received from family and friends describing the ceremony were: “Every word was true.” “Just the right amount of laughter and tears.” “It was just right.” Thank you, Dana! -Stoney and Kannika D. Dana made the entire experience so memorable and EASY. As most people know, planning a wedding can be stressful, if you let it, so having one extra element be so seamless was refreshing. We spoke a few times via SKYPE where Dana asked us a series of important questions such as how we met and our vision for the wedding ceremony, etc.
After our first meeting, she knew instantly how she was going to craft the ceremony and make it unique to us; just the way we always pictured it to be. She sent us a draft and right away I knew it was perfect by the tears that came rolling down my face. The way she made it so personal and un-traditional was great.Fast forward to the wedding day, Dana was there to coordinate and make sure everyone in the wedding party was where they needed to be. From the moment she started there was a dry eye or unhappy face in the crowd. Everyone told me after how nice it was to have someone really tell our story in such a loving, free-spirited way. - Andrea and James R. • Philadelphia, PA
I think the best part of having Dana marry us was that she made sure she did what we wanted. She met with us, asked us for our vision, and then she did just that. I felt like she walked away knowing more about us as individuals and as a couple. - Sarah G. • Denver, CO
When we first met Dana, we were absolutely exhausted from trying to find our perfect officiant. We had emailed with at least 50 people and met with about 10. No one knew how to put into words exactly what we were looking for in our wedding ceremony. We met Dana at a coffee shop and from the time we said hello, we knew she was going to create and perform our ceremony. She was very professional and yet still very laid back. She is one of those people you can just talk to and open up to! We had some pretty extravagant requests when it came to our ceremony. Dana was very open and listened to everything we had to say. She took notes and when we received the first draft of our ceremony, we were in tears and knew we made the right decision. Nothing was taken straight out of a book! Everything on that paper was very personal and true to us as a couple. Dana kept in touch with me through the whole process and really assured me that everything would be perfect on the day of our wedding; which is really amazing when you’re a bride planning a whole wedding by yourself! I couldn’t have asked for anything more than our ceremony that we experienced on the day of our wedding. We have received nothing but complements on how creative and how perfect the wording and performance of our ceremony was. I would and have already recommended Dana to each and every one of my soon-to-be married friends! - Amanda and Amy G. • Denver, CO
